Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1) Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how Inveniire uses cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies on our website and platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2) What are cookies and similar technologies?
- Cookies: small files or pieces of information that a website or service may store in your browser.
- Local storage: browser storage that can be used to maintain authentication information, preferences and other platform state.
- Session storage: temporary browser storage that generally lasts for the current browser tab or session.
- Security technologies: tools that use browser, device or network information to help identify automated activity, fraud and abuse.
- Third-party technologies: technologies used by services that support authentication, payments, infrastructure and other platform functions.
3) How we use these technologies
- Authentication and sessions: to keep users signed in, maintain account sessions and support secure account access.
- Security and fraud prevention: to detect suspicious activity, reduce automated abuse, protect authentication flows and enforce rate limits.
- Platform functionality: to remember temporary state, settings and information needed for features to work properly.
- Preferences: to remember certain choices or interface settings where applicable.
- Payments: third-party payment services may use their own cookies or similar technologies when users interact with payment, checkout, onboarding or payout features.
Inveniire does not currently intentionally use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies in the future we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
4) Authentication and browser storage
Inveniire uses Supabase for authentication and related account functionality. Authentication information may be stored in your browser using local storage, cookies or similar technologies depending on the service configuration and browser environment.
These technologies are used to maintain secure sessions and allow authenticated features to function. Storage names and technical details may change as our authentication infrastructure is updated.
Signing out of Inveniire ends the active account session. Some browser information may remain until it expires or is removed through your browser settings.
5) Cloudflare and security protection
Inveniire uses Cloudflare services to help protect the Platform from automated abuse, malicious traffic and other security threats.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used on certain authentication flows such as account creation, login and password recovery. Turnstile may process browser, device, network and interaction information to determine whether a request appears to come from a legitimate user rather than an automated system.
Cloudflare may use cookies, browser storage or other technical mechanisms when providing security services. These technologies are used for security purposes rather than advertising by Inveniire.
6) Third-party services
Inveniire relies on third-party services to operate parts of the Platform. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own services and privacy practices.
- Supabase: database, authentication, storage and related platform infrastructure.
- Cloudflare: website security, network protection and Turnstile bot protection.
- Stripe: payment processing, provider account connections, verification and payout functionality where applicable.
- LocationIQ: location and geocoding functionality used by location-based marketplace features.
When you are redirected to or interact with a third-party service its own privacy and cookie practices may apply.
7) Consent and your choices
Some cookies and similar technologies are necessary to provide requested features, maintain authentication or protect the security of the Platform.
Where consent is required for a non-essential use of cookies or similar technologies we will provide appropriate information and request consent before using that technology.
You can also control cookies and browser storage using your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies and site data.
Blocking or deleting technologies required for authentication or security may prevent login, payments or other parts of the Platform from working correctly.
8) Retention
Different cookies and browser storage items have different lifetimes depending on their purpose.
- Session information may expire when a session ends, when you sign out or when an authentication token expires.
- Persistent browser storage may remain until its configured expiration date or until it is removed by you, your browser or the service that created it.
- Security information may be retained for periods reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, investigate incidents and protect the Platform.
- Server-side records are handled according to the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9) Canadian privacy requirements
In Canada the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) may apply when cookies or similar technologies involve the collection, use or disclosure of personal information in commercial activities.
We provide information about the purposes for which these technologies are used and seek meaningful consent where required by applicable privacy law.
The appropriate form of consent may depend on the sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which it is used and what a reasonable user would expect in the circumstances.
10) Managing cookies and browser storage
You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Depending on your browser you may be able to delete individual site data, clear stored information, block cookies or restrict storage for specific websites.
You can also sign out of your Inveniire account when you are finished using the Platform on a shared or public device.
Removing authentication or security-related storage may sign you out or cause certain Platform features to stop working until the required information is created again.
11) Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, service providers, security systems or data practices change.
When this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Where required we may provide additional notice or request consent for new non-essential uses.
12) Contact
Questions about cookies or similar technologies can be sent to [email protected].
