Our Safety Principles

The standards that guide how Inveniire is intended to work.

Zero tolerance

We do not allow fraud, harassment, hate speech, sexual solicitation, extortion, impersonation or illegal activity.

Keep it on Inveniire

Keep Service related messages, agreements and payments on Inveniire so there is a Platform record if a dispute needs to be reviewed.

Clear agreements matter

Buyers and providers should agree on deliverables, timing, revisions and pricing before work begins.

Payment Safety

Keep paid work and transaction records on Inveniire.

Payments for Services arranged through Inveniire must be made through the Platform.

Inveniire uses Stripe for payment processing, connected Provider accounts and payout functionality.

Moving a transaction off the Platform can remove Inveniire’s ability to review the payment, confirm what happened or provide transaction support.

Never send payment outside Inveniire for an Inveniire transaction

Requests for direct bank transfers, cryptocurrency, gift cards, cash or another off Platform payment method for work arranged through Inveniire should be treated as a warning sign and reported.

Account Security

Protect your account and authentication information.

Keep your password, authentication codes and account access private.

Inveniire support will not ask you to send your password or an authenticator code through messages.

Be cautious with links, attachments or payment instructions sent by another user. Report suspicious messages, impersonation attempts or unexpected account activity.

If you believe your account has been compromised change your password promptly and contact Inveniire support.

Reporting

How to raise concerns on the Platform.

Report concerning content or behavior using the available report tools or by emailing [email protected] . Our team may review relevant Platform records and take action based on the circumstances.

Emergency situations: call 911 or your local emergency services first. Once you are safe you may report the situation to Inveniire so we can review any related Platform activity.

Agreements and Evidence

Clear Platform records make disputes easier to review.

Before payment the buyer and Provider should clearly agree on the work being purchased.

Important details should be documented through the Platform including the scope, price, deliverables, timeline and revision expectations.

If a dispute occurs Inveniire may review Platform messages, accepted offers, attached files, photographs, delivery records, timestamps, revision requests and other relevant evidence.

Users should not rely only on verbal or off Platform agreements if they expect Inveniire to consider those terms during a dispute.

Order Completion

How an Order moves into the post completion period.

When a Provider believes the agreed work has been completed the Provider may mark the Order as complete.

The buyer then has 24 hours to confirm completion or raise an issue through the Platform.

If the buyer confirms completion the Order becomes completed immediately.

If the buyer does not respond within the 24 hour period the Platform may automatically mark the Order as completed.

Once the Order becomes completed the 10 day post completion refund and payout period begins.

Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds are reviewed based on the agreement and available evidence.

A buyer changing their mind does not automatically guarantee a refund.

Buyers and Providers should first make a reasonable effort to resolve cancellation, revision or refund concerns with one another through the Platform.

Refund eligibility

  • Work not delivered: a buyer may request a refund where the Provider does not deliver the agreed Service.
  • Work materially not as agreed: a buyer may request a refund where the delivered work materially fails to match the accepted offer or documented scope.
  • Potential full refund: an approved refund may be up to 100% of the affected Order amount where the evidence supports that result.
  • Evidence required: a refund request must include enough information or supporting evidence for Inveniire to reasonably review the claim.
  • No automatic approval: submitting a refund request does not guarantee that the refund will be approved.

Inveniire review

If the buyer and Provider cannot resolve the issue Inveniire may review the available evidence, Platform records and agreed Order terms. Inveniire may approve or deny a refund based on that review and applicable law.

If sufficient evidence is not provided Inveniire may deny the refund request unless applicable law requires another result or the Platform records independently provide a sufficient basis for the claim.

10 Day Refund and Payout Period

A post completion window before Provider funds are normally released.

After an Order becomes completed the buyer has up to 10 days to submit an eligible refund request concerning a material problem with the Order.

During this period the Provider payout remains subject to refund review, fraud review, payment processor requirements and other applicable holds.

After the 10 day period Provider funds are normally transferred or released to the Provider’s connected Stripe account if there is no unresolved issue preventing payout.

After funds have been released to the Provider a later refund is not guaranteed.

Inveniire may consider a later request if funds remain available, funds can reasonably be recovered, the circumstances justify further review or applicable law requires action.

Inveniire is not required to fund a refund from its own money after the applicable Provider funds have already been released unless required by law.

Refund Processing Times

An approved refund may still take time to reach the buyer.

Approval of a refund does not mean the money will appear in the buyer’s bank account immediately.

Refund processing times depend on Stripe, card networks, banks and the payment method involved.

Inveniire does not control how long a bank or payment provider takes to return an approved refund after it has entered the payment processing system.

Identity and Provider Verification

What verification currently means on Inveniire.

Inveniire does not currently require every user to submit government identification directly to Inveniire.

Providers must complete the required Stripe connected account setup before they can access Provider messages and paid Provider functionality.

Stripe may require identity, banking, business, tax or other information as part of its Know Your Customer and payment compliance processes.

Completion of Stripe verification does not mean that Inveniire guarantees a Provider’s skills, work quality, conduct, insurance coverage or suitability for a particular job.

Inveniire may introduce additional verification measures where appropriate.

Qualifications, Insurance and Background Checks

Understand what Inveniire does not independently guarantee.

Providers are responsible for having any licence, permit, certification, insurance or professional qualification required for the Service they offer.

Inveniire does not provide insurance coverage for users, Services or offline interactions.

Unless Inveniire specifically states otherwise we do not independently verify every licence, certification, insurance policy or professional qualification displayed or claimed by a user.

Inveniire does not currently perform general criminal background checks on every user.

Buyers should use reasonable judgment and request proof of qualifications, licensing or insurance when those matters are important to the Service being purchased.

Local Services and Offline Safety

Use reasonable judgment when meeting or working offline.

Local Services may involve entering private property, meeting unfamiliar people, using tools or equipment, handling property or participating in activities that carry real world risks.

Buyers and Providers are responsible for taking reasonable safety precautions and complying with applicable laws, permits, workplace requirements and insurance obligations.

Inveniire does not inspect private premises, supervise local work or control interactions that take place away from the Platform.

Inveniire does not guarantee the safety, conduct, identity, qualifications or reliability of another user.

If something feels unsafe you should stop the interaction where it is safe to do so and contact the appropriate authorities if necessary.

For an immediate threat, injury or emergency call 911 or your local emergency services before contacting Inveniire.

Intellectual Property and Deliverables

Respect ownership of work created through the Platform.

Where a Provider creates a custom Deliverable for a buyer the rights in that Deliverable transfer to the buyer after full payment unless the users agreed otherwise in writing.

Providers retain ownership of their pre existing tools, templates, libraries, systems, methods and other materials unless they expressly transfer those rights.

Providers should not resell, relicense, republish or materially reuse Client owned Deliverables after transfer unless the buyer gives permission or the users agreed otherwise.

Non confidential Client work should only be used in a Provider portfolio with the Client’s permission or where the users expressly agreed that portfolio use is allowed.

Intellectual property concerns may be reported to Inveniire for review. We may remove or restrict content where appropriate.

Privacy and Personal Information

Be careful with personal information shared through the Platform.

Do not publish another person’s private information without authorization.

Doxxing, threats involving personal information and misuse of another person’s private information are prohibited.

Users should share only the information reasonably necessary to communicate about or complete a Service.

Additional information about how Inveniire handles personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.

Prohibited Conduct

Conduct that is not allowed on Inveniire.

The following activity is prohibited:

  • requesting, encouraging or accepting off Platform payments for transactions arranged through Inveniire;
  • fraud, scams, impersonation or deceptive activity;
  • illegal Services, prohibited goods or unlawful activity;
  • false identities or attempts to impersonate Inveniire staff;
  • fake reviews, purchased reviews or review manipulation;
  • attempts to evade account restrictions or permanent bans;
  • unauthorized access to another user’s account.
  • malware, phishing, credential theft, spyware or malicious tools;
  • harassment, hate speech, sexual solicitation, extortion, intimidation, coercion or threats;
  • doxxing or malicious disclosure of private information;
  • conduct intended to interfere with Platform security or normal operation;
  • attempts to manipulate refunds, payments or Chargebacks;
  • conduct that creates an unreasonable safety risk for another user.

Moderation and Enforcement

What may happen when Platform rules are violated.

Inveniire may use automated systems and manual review to identify spam, fraud, abuse, suspicious behavior or policy violations.

Depending on the circumstances we may issue warnings, remove content, disable listings, restrict messages, place payment or payout holds, suspend accounts or permanently ban accounts.

Serious fraud, credible threats, unlawful conduct or significant payment abuse may be reported to Stripe, financial institutions, authorities or other appropriate parties where permitted or required by law.

Severe conduct such as scams, impersonation, deliberate fraud or serious threats may result in immediate permanent removal without a prior warning.
